Garden and Orchard

In terms of consuming energy. It’s burning. That is, If we didn’t water it each Day. The orchard is also. It’s a weedy place. Slowly taking over. At this time of year, I’m extremely busy. It’s two times a day that I milk. Making cheese. Going to the Farmers Market as well as the list goes on. Okay, that’s all for updates to the homestead. Let’s move on to the subject at hand.

Why We Drink Raw Milk

I’ll discuss the reasons dairy products are consumed and their advantages. Dairy products are derived from our grass-fed cows, with no change from their original condition. It’s all about nutritional value. Traditional food products that are raised with traditional methods produce the robust health of the past. I’ll go over the specific health benefits later.

If you’ve heard that drinking raw milk is harmful, It’s likely that you’ll be shocked to discover that you’ve been deceived. What are the facts about milk that is raw? A thorough examination of the research and assertions made by authorities like the FDA and CDC regarding raw milk’s dangers are completely false. It is actually beneficial for your body in a variety of ways. Even though it has been viewed by some as being harmful, you should not be averse to what this incredible superfood can offer, as the raw milk benefits are amazing.

What exactly is “raw milk” specifically? It’s milk from grass-fed cows that are not pasteurized and are not homogenized. Raw milk is, therefore, a source of all-natural acids, enzymes, minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients and is what some call”a “complete diet.” Eggs are part of that “complete diet” category too. Everything necessary to promote growth and health is included in the carton. There is no need for sterilization or the addition of sugar.

But wouldn’t raw milk create issues due to the possibility of eating bacteria? The chance for this to happen is extremely, very low. According to the medical scientist Dr Ted Beals, M.D. You are three times as likely to be sick from other food sources than raw milk. In the show notes, there is a reference. It is possible to get sick after eating any food item. The chance of illness from milk that is raw is low. The CDC states that there are 48 million foodborne diseases diagnosed every year. You heard that right. 48 million. Of the 48 million cases, just 42 (about 0.0005 percent!) every year are caused by the consumption of fresh raw, not processed (raw) dairy.

Dr Chris Kesser did an exhaustive study to discover the real consequences of drinking raw milk. Illness and even death (as the CDC claims it is). He discovered that the probability of being hospitalized due to bacterial illness due to drinking raw milk is three times lower than the risk of being killed in an airplane crash.

The research indicates that most claims and concerns regarding raw milk are exaggerated, and, as a result, its health benefits are under-appreciated. The benefits of raw milk are many and assist in addressing a wide range of nutritional problems that many people, specifically those following the standard American diet, are currently suffering from. Raw milk, for example, helps with skin and allergies as well as contains the essential nutrients that are found in living foods.

Five Benefits of Raw Milk

Here are some health facts about milk.

1. Reduces Allergies

The latest research suggests that those who consume uncooked milk are fifty percent less likely to suffer from allergies, while 41 percent are less likely to suffer from asthma compared to those who do not. The study in the journal of allergy and clinical Immunology included 8,000 kids with different diets, and One of the main conclusions researchers came to was that through taking raw milk, the children were able to experience “naturally protecting” effects.

As stated by the Real Milk.com website, among other things. Real Milk.com website and many other studies conducted over the last century have proven that raw milk is beneficial and helps children’s growth as well as development in different ways. Examples include increased immunity to infections and improved dental health, and support for the growth of the skeleton. There is a reference in note notes on the program.

It’s possible that you’re wondering what raw milk could do to help reduce allergic reactions, and isn’t dairy associated with high rates of sensitivities or intolerances? Probiotics, vitamin D and immunoglobulins (antibodies) present in raw milk are known to enhance the immune system and lower the chance of developing allergies in both adults and children. The enzymes found in raw milk assist with digestion, but they are usually removed or damaged during pasteurization. Without these enzymes, lactose intolerance can be significantly more likely.

2. Helps Improve Skin Health

Dairy has a bad reputation for aggravating or causing acne or skin inflammation. However, this is not the scenario when you consume raw milk. As I said that the benefits from raw milk could be many; however, one of the main reasons why people consume it is to help their skin. The stories of success stories of those drinking raw milk to help treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema have been extensively published.

Raw milk is good for the skin due to these reasons:

  • It’s full of healthy fats. Raw milk is rich in quantities of saturated healthy fats as well as omega-3 fats. It helps to maintain the skin’s water hydration.
  • Probiotics found in raw milk may help to neutralize or kill the bad bacteria that reside within your gut. This could dramatically impact your health and the appearance of your skin. Research has shown that gut inflammation and imbalanced bacteria can cause skin problems like acne and eczema.

3. Helps Prevent Nutrient Deficiencies

As per the USDA estimates, about 300 calories per Day in the typical American diet (out of 2,076 calories) could be due to sweeteners or added sugars. Contrast this with nutrient-rich food items like raw dairy, fruit and vegetables are only responsible for 424 calories.

A single serving of milk that is raw contains around 400 milligrams of calcium, 50 milligrams of magnesium, and 500 milligrams of potassium. These minerals are crucial to the functioning of cells in hydration, bone detoxification, blood circulation, muscle health as well as metabolism.

4. Can Be Used to Make Probiotic Foods

Probiotics are microorganisms that line your gut and aid in the absorption of nutrients. They also protect you from foreign invaders, such as E. bacteria and other parasites. The best method to include probiotics into the diet of your diet is to consume them in their natural state, which is why you should consume raw milk products like yogurt, cheese, and Kefir. • Skin infections
  • Insufficiency in the immune system
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Vaginal yeast infection

5. Doesn’t Contain Added Sugar or Synthetic Ingredients

In addition to pasteurization, conventional milk can also undergo the homogenization process. Homogenization is a process that uses high pressure, which breaks down fat into tiny bits -However, the fat that is subjected to pressure and heat is oxidized and runscid. Many dairy products with low fat also include thickening agents to compensate for the loss of texture. Raw milk doesn’t require any added thickeners, shelf-stabilizers or thickeners and does not have added flavours or sugar.

The majority of foods contain some amount of natural sugars, such as natural dairy products, such as raw, that contains lactose, which is the kind of sugar that we call it. The sugar found that is found in milk can be balanced by other nutrients and is, therefore, not a problem (even beneficial when consumed in moderate amounts).

Vitamins that support the nervous system and the brain are essential for development as well as focus and brain function. Vitamins that are fat-soluble also aid in bone density and regulate hormones.

Short Chain Fatty Acids, CLA and Omega-3s

Alongside being rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are anti-inflammatory and omega-3 fatty acids, milk that is fed to grass-fed animals is an excellent supply of butyrate, which is a short-chain fat that is widely recognized for its ability to manage health problems that are related to inflammation, slow metabolism, and the resistance to stress. In addition, raw, grass-fed milk is awash in conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) that, as per Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, has been linked to cancer prevention, better cholesterol levels, and may help in reducing body fat.

Essential Minerals and Electrolytes: Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium

Raw milk is among the most abundant sources of electrolytes and minerals, and many people require more.

Whey Protein and Immunoglobulins

The best-tasting curds and protein whey come from our milk that is raw. CHEESE. Whey protein is great for those who want to lose fat and maintain or build lean muscles. Whey protein is loaded with these enzymes: alpha-lactalbumin, beta-lactoglobulin and bovine serum albumin, and immunoglobulin.

Probiotics: Kefir, Cheese and Yogurt

Probiotics are found only in tiny amounts in raw milk. However, once you make the process of fermenting milk in order to make products like yoghurt, Kefir or even cheese, beneficial bacteria significantly increase. In actual fact, there aren’t any other food items that are as natural and probiotic-rich as those made from cultured dairy products.

This is just the beginning of the iceberg when it pertains to the benefits of raw milk.

Raw Milk Benefits vs Conventional Milk

Let’s compare. Dairy products have received negative reviews in the past, but it’s most likely due to the process of pasteurization. After the milk is pasteurized, it destroys a lot of nutritional elements which make raw milk useful. What is the reason why pasteurization is even necessary in the first place? Because it exposes milk to extremely high temperatures, it is also able to destroy harmful bacteria that could be capable of making their way into the milk. However, as I’ve mentioned earlier, it’s extremely uncommon for these kinds of bacteria to be present in milk in the first place. There are other ways to ensure that bad bacteria aren’t introduced into milk in the first place.

Essential elements and enzymes are significantly diminished during the process of pasteurization. If you take into consideration that some of these nutrients aren’t just diminished but changed from their original state and altered, it’s clear that certain nutrients are not available for the body to utilize and are very difficult to digest for many people.

Allergies and lactose intolerances are more prevalent due to pasteurization, too. Another negative effect of pasteurization is that the process destroys digestive enzymes that are needed to break down and absorb specific nutrients. In the study mentioned above, the researchers discovered that lactase (the enzyme found in dairy) levels had been drastically reduced after pasteurization. This is one reason why the majority of people suffer from lactose intolerance. A study conducted by the Weston A. Price Foundation found that of 700 families that were interviewed, it was shocking to learn that the majority of people diagnosed as having lactose intolerance did not experience any symptoms after switching to raw milk.

Raw Milk Nutrients

To put things in perspective, According to research studies, the following elements present in raw milk are active, and when pasteurized, they are destroyed or altered:

Vitamin A has a 35% reduction; Vitamin C has a 25-77% reduction Vitamin E is reduced by 14%; iron has a 66 percent reduction; Zinc has a 70% reduction. B-Complex Vitamins reduced by 38 calcium 21% reduction Enzymes, completely destroyed The immune system is damaged. Whey Protein denatured.

All the nutrients listed above are present in unpasteurized, raw milk. Pasteurized milk is a less nutritious product. As I mentioned, it is the case that they are adding things to a product that was flawless prior to the process of pasteurization unless it was contaminated by negligent practices.
